SAMAO 2026: The Premier Event for Mining Innovation in West Africa
The 8th edition of the West African Mining Week (SAMAO) will be held September 14–19, 2026, at the SIAO in Ouagadougou. Under the theme “Governance of Extractive Resources: Geopolitical Issues, Challenges, and Opportunities for African States,” this edition aims to bring together stakeholders in the mining sector to address key issues related to governance and the future of extractive resources in Africa.
